Lone Mountain Aircraft is looking for quality Aviation Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. We need technicians that can fit in quickly, have a positive attitude, and have General Aviation experience.
Position Overview
As Lead Technician at our Cirrus Authorized Service Center in Springfield, Ohio, you will serve as a hands-on technical expert and team leader, overseeing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Cirrus SR aircraft. This role demands precision, leadership, and a deep commitment to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with Cirrus and FAA standards
- Lead and mentor a team of A&P technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and regulatory compliance
- Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure timely completion of service orders
- Conduct and sign off on inspections using Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems
- Review and approve maintenance documentation, logbooks, and work orders
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding aircraft status and service recommendations
- Support technician onboarding and ongoing training
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Pay & Benefits
Lone Mountain Aircraft offers a comprehensive employee benefits program, including:
- $44-$49 hourly rate with a $2 premium per hour for IA license.
