Maintenance Control Short-Term Planner
In this role, you’ll ensure all line maintenance requirements within the easyJet Aircraft Maintenance Programme are met by effectively planning, controlling, and administering all scheduled maintenance that can be completed on the line. You’ll also coordinate any unscheduled maintenance arising during operations, working from the approved planning system and information provided by the MRO or MOC, to keep the fleet running safely and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring aircraft remain compliant and airworthy by adhering to all relevant legislative requirements and company procedures. Working closely with the Maintenance Operations Control Centre (MOC) team, you will actively review and plan defect rectifications for the easyJet fleet, ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled tasks are accurately reflected in company systems. You will manage and distribute work packages, define the line maintenance nightstop plan, and monitor fleet reports for AOG situations or deferred tasks. Maintaining effective communication with the airline and maintenance providers, you will provide technical support, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure all requirements are completed with accurate feedback to the records department. You will also be responsible for timely resolution of Technical Assistance Queries in AMOS, compliance with health and safety and customer policies, and contributing to the achievement of airline performance targets. This is a continuous shift role requiring a proactive, detail-focused approach and a commitment to operational excellence.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We’re looking for someone with strong competence in maintenance planning functions, backed by a proven track record of flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-changing environments. You will bring solid knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite and AMOS systems, along with a clear understanding of EASA, FOCA, and CAA regulations. An in-depth grasp of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme is essential, enabling you to plan, coordinate, and manage tasks with precision and compliance at the forefront.
