Description:• Principle contact and liaison between the maintenance HVAC department and operations/customers.
• Review all planned HVAC work request from assigned area and determine validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.
• Review work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
• Identifies HVAC work requiring engineering design and reviews them with engineering.
• Escalates issues to Maintenance leadership for work which is high priority and or compliance related.
• Obtain and organize all information required for the HVAC craft to perform the work: drawings, vendor manual, supplemental instructional materials, special procedures, and other file material which is appropriate. Supplement this information by preparing any additional sketches, drawings, diagrams, notes, or any instructional material which will clarify the work to be performed.
• Approach all aspects of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority.
• Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
• Verifies all material, information, tools and labor are available prior to scheduling.
• Works with HVAC Maintenance employees, and HVAC supervisors to determine resource availability and work to level the work force.
• Assists with planning and scheduling meeting with operation partners to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.
• Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources: maintenance, outside services, stores and engineering.
• Issue scheduled work orders to supervisors and address any questions that may arise.
• Manage a backlog of work orders which require major or significant portion of the facility to be shutdown.
• Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Background in maintenance of high-value, critical HVAC infrastructure and equipment
• Working experience in a preventive/predictive/condition-based maintenance environment with techniques such as data trend analysis, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, acoustic and ultrasound monitoring, etc.
• Deep knowledge of operation and interaction of various building systems and assets to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Extensive knowledge of CMMS administration
• Extensive knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) infrastructure and machine platforms
• Experience in change management and process improvement with the ability to drive results using Lean/Six Sigma principles
• Ability to analyze maintenance report data to identify, develop and drive action plans for performance improvement
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distinguish target audiences, such as the shop floor or executives, to present study results and action plans
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
• Working HVAC experience in a large factory environment, especially aerospace and defense
• Mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree or extensive engineering/maintenance related experience with HVAC equipment/systems
• Project management experience
• Predictive maintenance certifications
