Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will apply best practices and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repair of equipment, machinery, buildings, and utilities. The role involves assisting the maintenance lead with troubleshooting and hydraulic repairs, focusing primarily on machinery preventative maintenance (PM).
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on hydraulic equipment, servo-driven machines, and some PLCs.
- Conduct electrical work as required.
- Assist in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Handle routine tasks to allow senior technicians to focus on projects and troubleshooting.
- Perform fabrication maintenance and repairs on milling machines, heat treat ovens, walk-in freezers, hydraulic presses, air compressors, and vacuum pumps.
- Install and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Industrial hydraulic equipment experience is a must.
- 480V electrical experience is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience in fabrication, HVAC, and plumbing is a plus.

Work Environment
The team consists of four maintenance personnel, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Some schedule flexibility is possible, although training requires adherence to the specified hours. The environment involves interaction with colleagues and supervisors on the shop floor. The team maintains a robust and straightforward dynamic, where professionalism is key, and inappropriate behavior is not tolerated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
