This opportunity is perfect for those transitioning from the Military where you became skilled in Aviation and are ready to take it to the next level in the civilian world, or for those mechanically inclined and want to shift into aviation or for those currently in A&P school!

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working on a variety of aircraft that include Lear 31, 35s and 45s, PC-12s, King Airs, CJ3s, Cessna Mustangs, and Bombardier Challengers. If you enjoy variety and steady work, come join our team.

While being overseen by a certified A&P, duties and responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Estimate projected man-hours for individual repairs/inspections.
  • Accurately complete all required maintenance records.
  • Operate all tools and equipment necessary to accomplish a job assignment.
  • Present a clean and neat work area to our customers.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow the guidance received and perform assigned tasks.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with the customer is required.
  • Need to be Customer Service minded.
  • With the oversite of an existing A&P, be able to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined and either going to A&P school or have a military background with Aircraft Maintenance experience.
  • Willing and able to test for your A&P once eligible.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High level of initiative and commitment.
  • Excellent performance and attendance history.
  • Advocate for Aero Airs culture of excellence and customer service.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Green Card Holder.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Favorable results from pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required.
