Position Details
* Aerospace Maintenance / Military Support
* Full Time – Approximately through the end of the year (35 weeks, 4 days)
* Variable Shift (1st Shift 0700–1530, 2nd Shift 1500–0100; must be available for all shifts)
* Must be a U.S. Person
* Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
* $38.08 - $46.60 Hourly Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 4+ years of related aerospace maintenance, repair, or modification experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Significant experience with military avionics systems (3–5 years)
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word
* Hands-on experience in testing, repair, and configuration of aerospace systems
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds Preferred Skills
* Military helicopter maintenance experience
* Experience supporting MH-139 Grey Wolf or similar platforms
* Familiarity with M240 maintenance and aircraft armament systems
* Experience handling chaff/flare systems and explosive components (squibs)
* Knowledge of IMDS systems
* Familiarity with AFI 21-101 and TO 00-20-1 technical orders
* Experience with aircraft explosive operations and munitions handling
* Prior military background
* Experience working with aerospace maintenance technical orders and documentation Job Duties & Functions
* Assembles, disassembles, and modifies aerospace vehicle systems and components to correct failures or implement changes
* Oversees and performs maintenance, repair, inspection, and overhaul of aircraft systems and subassemblies
* Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify faults and corrective actions
* Performs installation and removal of aerospace components and test equipment
* Conducts validation, verification, and functional testing of systems and components
* Configures aerospace vehicles and test equipment based on mission requirements
* Performs aircraft armament and conventional weapons system support, including loading and unloading operations
* Supports explosive operations, including safe handling, arming, and safing of munitions and pyrotechnics
* Documents maintenance actions, test results, modifications, and inspections for compliance requirements
* Ensures flight worthiness standards are met through inspection and verification activities
* Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with established safety and procedural standards
