Job Summary
* As a Product Repair/Modification Technician A in Heath, OH, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping aerospace systems mission-ready. You’ll assist with disassembling components, troubleshooting basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and performing validation/verification testing. You’ll also support fabrication and modification work to exact specifications and take part in safe handling operations like jacking, towing, and system operations. This is a great opportunity to build your skills while working under the guidance of experienced technicians and contributing to the legacy of quality and safety. Education & Experience Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with tools. (hand-held tools)
* Must have a willingness to work with beryllium or other chemical elements.
* Must have basic computer skills. (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Preferred Qualifications
* 1 year of experience working with a microscope. (a plus!) Job Duties & Functions
* Assists with the disassembly of system components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
* Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
* Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
* Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
* Assists with performing tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
* Works under supervision.
