Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and components, including weapons, fire control, and electro-environmental systems. You will ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance with regulatory and contractual standards while supporting flight line operations. You will document maintenance activities, conduct inspections and functional testing, and mentor less experienced technicians to maintain a highly effective maintenance team. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* You must have a minimum of 4 or more years of related work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
* You must have at least 3 years of aviation maintenance experience.
* You must have Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Word.
* You must have experience with testing, repair, and configuration of aircraft systems and components.
* Physical Requirements:Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
* All PPE required will be provided by the client. Preferred Skills
* You will have a military background.
* You will have experience in helicopter maintenance.
* You will have AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Program) experience. Job Duties/Functions
* You will assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
* You will oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul activities.
* You will configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
* You will troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
* You will perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
* You will document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance, including repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results.
* You will inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements.
* You will oversee and mentor the training of less experienced technicians.
* You will troubleshoot integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, subassemblies, Alternate Mission Equipment, and test equipment to determine malfunctions and corrective actions both on and off equipment.
* You will perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, and their subassemblies both on and off equipment.
* You will remove/install integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and subassemblies, including associated test equipment.
* You will perform pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and their subassemblies both on and off equipment.
* You will accomplish configuration changes of integrated conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies on assigned aircraft and equipment based on mission requirements.
* You will perform explosive operations, including loading/unloading, positioning, arming, and safing all assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics on assigned aircraft and/or equipment.
* You will control tools, clean work areas and equipment, and complete work control documents in accordance with established procedures.
* You will work under general direction, exercising judgment in selecting methods, troubleshooting approaches, and repair techniques consistent with established procedures.
