Role Summary
* In this role, you will support the maintenance and repair of aircraft Ground Support Equipment, applying your knowledge of automotive systems, hydraulics, and electrical operations to ensure reliability and readiness. You will assist the Lead Technician, perform hands-on maintenance, and document all actions to maintain compliance and efficiency. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of four or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (such as vocational school or an Associate degree plus two years of related work, or a Bachelor’s degree).
* Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Must have general automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background.
* Must have a minimum of three years of experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
* Must have experience formally or informally leading a team. Preferred Skills
* Will have an understanding of hydraulic operations.
* Will have knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
* Will have experience with heavy machinery and mechanical operations. Job Duties/Functions
* Will provide assistance to the Lead Technician in daily accomplishments and tasking.
* Will perform maintenance on a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing, or upgrading components.
* Will perform troubleshooting to isolate faulty components.
* Will perform routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
* Will perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
* Will perform documentation of maintenance and inspection actions as required.
* Will perform creation and maintenance of maintenance, calibration, and inventory tracking systems.
* Will perform work under general supervision and with minimal direction.
