QUALITY INSPECTOR (CMM Operator - Verisurf)
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing routine inspections, first part buyoffs, final inspections, and FAI’s to ensure that product meets company
standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform quality inspections on material, in process parts and final machined product.
- Perform/Complete First Part Buyoffs
- Verify part conformity using Verisurf software.
- Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports.
- Communicate effectively with machinists, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality.
- Perform other duties to support daily production activities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of previous aerospace inspection experience
- Previous experience using measuring equipment including micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of Portable CMM experience required (Prefer Verisurf software experience)
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
- Experience with Global Shop software preferred but not required.
- Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
- Proficient computer skills, required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
