Quality Inspector/ Inspecting Fabricated Parts
1st Shift  OT as needed
Contract to Hire
 
Urgent opening for a Quality Inspector to inspect fabricated parts for aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that has been around for over 50 years doing overhaul and modifications on the King Air and Dash-8. Our client does everything in house from back the back shop out to the flight line. They want to be known as a one stop shop for everything! The Quality Inspector will be responsible for Quality Control inspection of fabricated parts, assemblies and installations manufactured by our client. Aviation, aircraft experience is strongly desired.
 
Essential functions and basic duties:
Dimensional and visual inspection aircraft modification parts for conformity to drawings at pertinent steps of manufacture.Identify, document and report discrepancies. Perform final inspection of manufacturing work packets to ensure all paperwork is completed according to established standards.Assist in the performance of Receiving inspections when not otherwise tasked.
Skills:
Ability to perform inspection duties by interpreting engineering data.Strong written and verbal communication.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to use and effectively navigate ERP program, time clock and company intranet.Thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation standards an FAA regulations.Must be able to submit to Drug and Background.Must have previous experience preforming manufacture of machined or fabricated parts or avionics kits required (3-5 years of experience).
