Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic team at a bustling aircraft manufacturing facility as a Quality Inspector, focusing on first article inspections. You will be responsible for inspecting completed pieces using precise measuring tools, cross-referencing blueprints, and completing first article forms. Comprehensive training on the process from the clients perspective will be provided. The role involves extensive work with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform first article inspections of completed aircraft components.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and go/no-go gauges for precise inspection.
- Cross-reference blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Complete inspection reports and first article forms meticulously.
- Engage in quality control processes and work with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Essential Skills- Aerospace and aviation inspection experience - 5+ years.
- Proficiency in first article inspection and Net-Inspect software.
- Capability in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with aircraft quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Background in aviation.
- Experience with visual inspection techniques.

Work Environment
The position is based in Northeast Calgary, conveniently located minutes away from local amenities. Work shifts include a day schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and an afternoon schedule from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with potential work on Fridays.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
