Quality Inspector Overview: The quality inspector follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional and functional inspections on a wide variety of mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies during the receiving, in-process and final inspection process. - Inspects mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies during receiving, in process, and final inspections. - Responsible for identification, documentation, and securing of nonconforming parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies & submissions to the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition. - Generates and follows up on internal and/or supplier corrective action requests. - Responsible for filing and record keeping of quality records. - Focuses on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrates good business judgment. - Works effectively with all internal departments, customers, and Regulatory Agencies to exceed internal and external expectations for customer satisfaction. - Provides inspection feedback to suppliers and other departments to improve quality. - Assures compliance to customer, Statutory, and Regulatory Agency (FAA, EASA,ITAR, etc...) regulations. - Generating necessary inspection data sheets and documentation for recording and reporting of inspection results. - Performance of First Article Inspection (FAI) and generation/review of documentation of FAI results in accordance with SAE AS9102. - Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions (RCCA/CAPA)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Must have experience using quality tools such as: Calipers, micrometers, Height gauges, Go/no-go gauges, Coordinated Measuring Machines Other inspection measurement tools - Must have experience reading blue prints and schematics - Must have experience recording quality checks into computer system (The ERP they have is SAP). Theyre looking for someone who does more than throw a part into a good / bad bucket. Nice to Have; - ISO9001/AS9100 - PPAP experience (PFMEA, Control Plans, Characteristic Matrix, Gage Capability, Process Capability, Process Flow) - SAP (ERP System) experience ** Sub package to include answers to questions in Interview Information **

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
