Job Description:
Responsible for Mechanical maintenance and repair on
Commercial Aircraft types.
1.Remove and replace various aircraft components with the use of special
tooling following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives
and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments in a timely

4.Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.

SUPERVISION:  Under normal
supervision, performs structural and/or sheet metal repairs/modifications to
aircraft, aircraft parts and components according to manufacturer’s repair
manual specifications and FAA regulations to assure accurate repairs to
maintain airworthiness in a timely and cost effective manner.
INTERPERSONAL RELATION:  A moderate level of
interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship with
co-workers and supervision.

replace parts in a timely manner. Must have mental skills and quickness with
the ability to cope with stress and intense effort or exertion usually caused
by long working hours. Must have the capacity to gain knowledge by hearing for
one’s own safety due to the dangers involved in the operations of shop
equipment. Working environment requires standing 90% of the workday on hard
surfaces. Must be able to lift 50lbs. and report to work regularly.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION:     High school diploma or GED required. A&P License desired or specialized training.
EXPERIENCE:   Minimum 12 years commercial heavy maintenance experience.
                           Minimum 7 years of experience working in fuel tanks performing wing stinger repairs, rib repairs, spar repairs. This must be verifiable.
                           Must pass a verbal technical interview.
                           Must be very proficient at the use of the Structural Repair Manual, Engineering Orders, Drawings and Blueprints.
                           Must be well versed in the requirements of major repairs in all areas of the aircraft.
                           Must pass a fuel tank panel entry test for size and agility.
                           Must maintain the ability to pass a fuel tank panel entry test for size and agility during employment.
                           Must possess a full set of structural repair tools as listed on minimum tool list provided.  This will be verified during first days of
