Responsibilities:
Evaluate and conduct daily maintenance and inspections to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
Communicate any unusual situations requiring adjustments to the Lead Mechanic.
Manage the maintenance of all assigned aircraft, ensuring safety and security of all company assets.
Prepare reports and certify aircraft logs and maintenance forms, ensuring FAA and manufacturer standards are met.
Handle work entries and logs in RAMCO, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic and relevant team members to facilitate efficient operations.
Manage inventory, recommending changes in parts levels as needed.
Ensure all special tools are calibrated and maintained.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma.
FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
Proficient communication and computer skills.
Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity exam and drug screening.
Travel flexibility, with frequent travel required.
Ability to work night shifts and on the Roving Maintenance Team, possess sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills.
