Responsibilities:
Review and assess daily maintenance and inspection needs to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Communicate with the Lead Mechanic regarding unusual situations requiring schedule or aircraft changes.
Oversee aircraft maintenance at field bases, managing stock levels and requisitioning necessary parts.
Prepare detailed maintenance reports and certify compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
Maintain accurate and updated entries in the RAMCO system for all maintenance documentation.
Coordinate with the Lead Mechanic and related teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Supervise parts inventory and recommend adjustments to inventory levels.
Maintain and calibrate company-provided special tools and equipment.
Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma required.
FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified aircraft mechanic.
Strong communication and basic computer skills.
Must pass a pre-employment physical exam, including strength/flexibility testing, drug screening, and background check.
For Roving Maintenance Team: Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills preferred.
Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as needed.
