About the Opportunity:
Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic ready to take your career to new heights? Our client, a leader in the air ambulance industry, is seeking a Senior A&P Mechanic to join their dedicated team in Saint Louis, MO. Responsibilities:
Evaluate and perform daily maintenance and inspection tasks to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic regarding scheduling, aircraft, and manpower needs.
Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, overseeing stock levels and spare parts requisition as needed.
Prepare detailed reports, requisitions, and inventories, certifying work completion against FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
Input data into RAMCO for work packages, installations, and other aircraft maintenance records.
Collaborate with team members for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Maintain parts inventory, suggesting level adjustments as required.
Preserve company-provided tools, ensuring their timely calibration.
Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma.
FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Mechanic.
Basic communication and computer skills.
Successful completion of a pre-placement physical exam, including strength and flexibility assessments, drug screening, and background check.
Travel readiness for frequent, sometimes short-notice, travel if part of the PHI Roving Maintenance Team.
Ability to work night shifts as maintenance needs dictate.
Skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair advantageous for roving team members.
