Senior Instructor and Curriculum Developer

•Create/develop curriculum that matches training requirements to include instructor guides, student guides, hand-outs, tests, evaluation forms, power point presentations, short video clips pertaining to lesson plans, take photographs and incorporate into materials.
•Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline and to use technology, as appropriate, to enhance the educational experience of the learning process.
•Contribute to the development or revision of curriculum documents based on reviews and analysis to ensure desired student outcomes.
•Develop and teach aviation maintenance training courses in accordance with accepted training support packages.
•Develop and maintain student training records and job books.
•Maintain curricula in accordance with training support packages, OEM technical manuals, and industry standards.
•Develop technical training aids, presentations, and material.
•Ensure maintenance training courses are technically accurate, up-to-date, and clearly relevant to students' everyday work.
•Recommend changes to existing maintenance training programs.
•Maintain training records for maintenance employees.
•Comply with all specified policies, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of curriculum used to train Afghan Troops.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, coordinate with multiple sources and do in-depth, fast, and accurate research.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Detail oriented and capable of completing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
•Must be able to prioritize workloads.
•Must thrive in fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.
•Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience and Education Requirements:
•Experience in instruction and courseware development for rotary or fixed wing specific platforms.
•Minimum of twelve (12) years of maintenance instruction experience on the relevant MDS (MD530 or C-208).
•Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field is required.
•Experience in maintenance training courseware development.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
•Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening; subsequent random screening per antidrug and alcohol misuse prevention program requirements.
•Work assignment in a remote OCONUS location.
•Austere living and working conditions with long hours and exposure to harsh weather and hazardous conditions.
•Personnel should be aware of requirements to mobilize on short notice and under adverse conditions.
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
