Job Title: Service Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs a Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance of hydraulic-lift box trucks used to deliver catering to aircraft on the tarmac. You will work in a shop located in the non-badged areas adjacent to the airport, focusing on repairing and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of these box trucks.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot using diagnostic software for repairs, read mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics, and solve complex problems independently.
- Perform technical, mechanical, and electrical repairs independently, conduct high-standard quality checks, and ensure the safe transport of ground support equipment while actively participating in occupational health and safety processes.
- Accurately report work orders and time sheets in the maintenance system, check vehicles, scan spare parts, complete maintenance checklists, and handle the replenishment and documentation of used parts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, upholding quality control measures and product integrity.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanical repairs, and maintenance.
- Troubleshooting skills with diesel engines, heavy equipment, and ground support equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, auto, electrical, and hand tools.
- 3+ years of experience in vehicle, heavy equipment, or ground support equipment, including hydraulics systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with diesel engines and service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Work Environment
Work hours are 6am - 3pm, Monday through Friday, at the shop in the north cargo area at SEATAC.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $89440.00/yr.
