Company Description:

Hot Section Technologies is an emerging leader in providing Part 145 MRO services for regional air carriers throughout the world. Our customers fly ATR, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft and include airlines such as Air Wisconsin Airlines, CityJet, Danish Air, Endeavor Air, Envoy, GoJet, Hop!, Jazz, Lufthansa, Mesa Airlines, Nordica, PSA Airlines, SkyWest Airlines, Swiftair, among others.

The sheet metal parts being repaired are exhaust nozzle fairings, cowl doors, thrust reversers, exhaust ducts, enclosures, ducting, tubing, shields, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Accomplish all aspects of sheet metal repair in accordance with OEM’s maintenance manuals, company process specification's and FAA/EASA publications and regulations.Proper and safe usage of metal working equipment to accomplish sheet metal repairs (i.e. hammers, pneumatic air grinders, metal forming tools, etc.).Fabrication of patches and doublers.Installation of various aerospace fasteners (i.e. rivets, hi-loks, nutplates, etc.).Proper usage of precision measuring instruments to accomplish sheet metal repairs (i.e. micrometers, calipers, surface plates, etc.).Reference technical manuals, read blueprints, and engineering drawings as needed.
Participate in Lean 5s activities.Must be able to work with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.Must have good interpersonal and verbal skills in order to interface with customers and employees.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand a minimum of 8 hours per day.Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random ongoing on-the-job drug and alcohol testing.Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Job Requirements:



A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate preferredMinimum 5 years experience in sheet metal repair at a Part 145 Repair Station or AirlineStrong knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations related to a Part 145 Repair StationStrong problem-solving skillsStrong cognitive skills
