Job Title: Structures Technician
Location: Hartford, CT
Pay: $34.59–$40.00/hr Full-Time
Overview:
Join PDS Tech Commercial as a Structures Technician, performing advanced structural repairs, modifications, and inspections on corporate aircraft. This hands-on role requires precision, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure aircraft meet FAA and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft structures and components
Fabricate, modify, and install sheet metal and composite parts
Perform structural repairs on and off aircraft
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and repair manuals
Document all work per FAA and company requirements
Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently
Support maintenance operations at onsite and offsite locations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S practices
Qualifications:
Technical training in aircraft sheet metal or equivalent experience
4+ years of structural repair/modification experience (corporate aircraft preferred)
Strong understanding of structural repair techniques and materials
A&P or Repairman Certificate preferred
Must have own hand tools and ability to track inventory
Able to work overtime, weekends, and in various weather conditions
Basic computer skills required

Pay Details: $34.59 to $40.00 per hour
