Role Summary
* In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft structures, including performing modifications and repairs on composite and sheet metal components. You will support both on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have completed training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or have equivalent schooling.
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft structural sheet metal repair or modification.
* Must have the ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form regarding aircraft status.
* Must own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate inventory control of tools.
* Must have the ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
* Must be able to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays.
* Must be able to work outdoors in seasonal and inclement weather.
* Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if applicable.
* Must have basic PC skills. Job Duties/Functions
* Will perform troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance on customer aircraft.
* Will perform fabrication and modification of structural aircraft parts.
* Will perform minor structural repairs on composite components, both attached and detached.
* Will assist in hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures.
* Will assist with complex structural repairs on or off the aircraft.
* Will perform repair, removal, and installation of aircraft components as required.
* Will comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
* Will participate in 5S activities and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Will perform and document work per appropriate manuals, regulations, and Client General Work Requirements.
* Will operate ground support equipment as required.
* Will assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
* Will assist with maintenance at off-site locations.
* Will assist with towing aircraft as needed.
* Will perform tasks supporting other maintenance disciplines as required.
