We are seeking an experienced T-56 Engine Mechanic to join our team, performing critical maintenance and modifications on C-130 aircraft. The ideal candidate will play a key role in our C-130 modification program, specifically conducting phase inspections and borescope evaluations on T-56 engines. This position demands a thorough understanding of engine systems and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct phase inspections on T-56 engines as part of the C-130 modification program.
• Perform borescope inspections to assess engine condition and diagnose potential issues.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble engine components, ensuring compliance with all FAA and military maintenance standards.
• Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve complex engine malfunctions.
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow mechanics to ensure efficient project completion.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained in accordance with safety protocols.

• 6-8+ years of experience as an engine/aircraft mechanic
• 4+ years of experience working with T-56 engines, preferably in a modification or maintenance environment.
• Proven experience performing borescope inspections.
• Strong knowledge of C-130 aircraft systems, particularly engines and related components.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with FAA and military regulations governing aircraft maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must pass a standard FAA DOT drug test and criminal background check.
• Proof of US Citizenship
• Valid Driver’s License

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• A&P license or military equivalent.
• Prior experience with C-130 modifications or upgrades.
• Familiarity with C-130 TCTO (Time Compliance Technical Orders) and other technical directives.
