Roles and Responsibilities: 

Role Summary: 

  • Troubleshoot and repair automated test equipment integrated with PC’s and peripheral hardware

  • Build of support equipment (test cables, interface assemblies, etc.)

  • Use electronic measurement equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers

  • Perform high quality terminal crimping, wire routing and lacing, soldering, and component mounting

  • Knowing and applying electrical safety standards for both assembly and end user operations (120V 60Hz to 220V, 400Hz three phase AC, up to 270 VDC, specialty power supplies)

 Essential Responsibilities 

In addition, you will: 

  • Use basic hand tools and power tools such as punches and drill presses

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, electronic schematics, and manufacturers technical data

  • Identify and resolve design and/or process errors

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Working knowledge of both digital and analog electrical/electronic circuitry

  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and interconnect protocols

  • Work with minimum supervision as well as with engineering personnel

  • Work from general written and verbal instructions

  • Quickly learn new technologies

Eligibility Requirements:  

  •  Associate degree from an accredited college related to electronic technology or a High School Diploma / GED with the equivalent in documented work experience

  • Successfully complete both a written and a practical test
