Job Description:

Functions as the 1st Battalion UH-60M non-rated crewmember (NRCM) under the direction of Battalion Production Control Supervisor. Responsible for performing duties as a NRCM in the UH-60M Aircraft while supporting Maintenance Test Flights (MTF tasks in accordance with the appropriate Department of Defense (DOD) Aircrew Training Manual (ATM). Reports any problems that affect completion timeline to Production Control (PC). Ensures maintenance is conducted in accordance with (IAW) the appropriate technical manuals or approved maintenance instruction guidelines. Ensures personnel are trained and qualified to complete the daily tasks and work orders assigned. Manages, maintains, and projects future bench stock requirements. Provides technical direction and training to Ministry of National Guard Soldiers, when needed. Responsible for ensuring all related maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.

A. Duties/responsibilities:

1. Performs duties as a non-rated crewmember in the UH-60M Aircraft in accordance with the US Army Aviation ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.

2. Conduct individual flight tasks during day Maintenance Test Flights.

3. Maintains proficiency and currency in primary job specialty by supporting the workload of the assigned phase team as needed.

4. Ensures aircraft maintenance operations are streamlined to reduce maintenance times, helping to improve aircraft turnaround times.

5. Coordinates with PC supervisor on maintenance and training requirements.

6. Ensures maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.

7. Supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART), as needed.

8. Provides technical direction and training to Ministry of National Guard Soldiers.

9. Other tasks as directed by the first line supervisor or higher.

B. Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: As directed by the first line supervisor or higher.

Job Requirements:

A. Education Level:

1. Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent.

B. Training Certifications:

1. Required: Graduated from a US Army UH-60 maintenance course or possess FAA A&P or Foreign equivalent.

2. Preferred: Graduated from a US Army UH-60 aviation maintenance course and possess an FAA A&P license or foreign equivalent

C. Experience:

1. Required: Six (4) years’ experience in UH-60M aviation maintenance.

2. Required: 150 Flight Hours as a UH60 NRCM experience in aviation maintenance.

3. Preferred: Ten (10) years cumulative experience in UH-60 maintenance.

4. Preferred: FAA A&P certified.

D. Specific knowledge, skills, ability:

1. Must be able to communicate effectively with host nation personnel and company management.

2. Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

3. Possess a valid driver’s license.

C. Successfully pass an overseas deployment / FAA Flight physical upon hire.
