Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Aerospace at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position (#288010) at the rank of assistant/associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2023. The position is contingent upon funding.
The successful candidate will teach classes primarily in the Aviation Management concentration, undertake collaborative and multi-disciplinary research within the department and university, and be actively involved in university and professional service.
Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or closely related field by appointment date
Required Related Experience
Two years of aerospace or aviation industry operations or management experience is required.
Applicants with AAAE C.M. or A.A.E certification, Aerospace Law, FBO Operations, or Airport Operations experience will receive special consideration.
