Icelandair is looking for a capable individual for a Duty Manager position at the Icelandair Operations Control Center (OCC).
The OCC is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of Icelandair’s route network are as efficient as possible while minimizing disruptions to flight schedules and their impact on customers. The Duty Manager oversees daily operations within the OCC and coordinates the work of the teams involved.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of Icelandair’s route network
- Manage OCC operations in response to delays and other disruptions in the network
- Handle tasks related to OCC operations
- Work on improvement initiatives and other projects related to Icelandair’s route network operations
Qualifications:
- Strong educational background relevant to the role
- Initiative and excellent organizational skills
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Icelandair’s operations or similar experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken Icelandic and English
