Job Description:

 This position is for a Senior Electronic Service Technician who is under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.
This is a 2nd Shift Position - 3:30pm to Midnight. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works under general supervision to service/repair/modifyavionics equipment.
  • Performsa variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, & repairing avionics equipment.
  • Conducts technical analysis of products, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer requirementsand approved documentation.
  • Soldering fine pitch and SMD components.
  • Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. 
  • Utilizesa goodunderstanding of electronic theoryto effect timely repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems down to component level.
  • Demonstrates organizational and time management skills. 
  • Not responsible for sales activities.



Basic Qualifications:
  • Electronics Trade School or Military training equivalent for repairing electronics.
  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

  • ORInthe absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • FAA Part 145 knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of RF electronics a plus.
