Job Title: Import Export Clerk
Job DescriptionManage import and export compliance operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory adherence. Serve as a subject-matter expert in Harmonized Tariff and Schedule B product classification. Maintain effective customs broker management and ensure accurate broker information exchange. Advise brokers on U.S. import customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with mandatory reporting, filing, and record-keeping requirements. Support internal trade compliance audit programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Drive process improvements to minimize delays, damages, and losses in the supply chain. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on special projects related to global trade compliance.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills- Proven experience in import/export compliance within aerospace or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations, customs clearance processes, and global trade compliance standards.
- Expertise in Harmonized Tariff and Schedule B classification.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This role operates in an indoor, hybrid environment. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
