Suvi Global Services is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and mission-aligned cloud infrastructure. This role is critical to the modernization and transformation of the government’s IT systems into hybrid and cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of cloud migrations and a strong understanding of government security and compliance requirements. Working closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams, the Cloud Architect will ensure that cloud solutions support operational performance, data protection, and resiliency. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to drive innovation and continuity in a high-security environment.

Technical Leadership & System Oversight

• Provide technical management and leadership for projects, tasks, or subtasks, ensuring successful system design, development, and implementation.

• Oversee all aspects of the DMRS environments, including architecture, performance, and security.

• Perform system investigations and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues.

• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation (typically one week every four weeks).

• Architecture & Development

• Lead the design and maintenance of complex programs and systems, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.

• Support the transition from between legacy and new product and cloud environments.

• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot product issues, including trace creation and issue reproduction.

• Data Integration & Business Intelligence

• Design and implement ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.

• Leverage the Information Builders suite (e.g., I-Way Data Migrator, Report Console, Security Console, Report Caster, Info Assist, WebFOCUS Developer Studio, App Studio) to support enterprise reporting and analytics.

• Understand Oracle database interactions with IBI tools and support integration efforts.

• Security & Compliance

• Implement and manage internet security protocols (e.g., HTTPS, TLS) and certificates in a PKI environment.

• Ensure systems are compliant with security best practices and federal standards.

• Maintain awareness of and apply security hardening techniques across platforms.

• Emerging Technologies & Innovation

• Apply knowledge of predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data to enhance system capabilities.

• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• One or more of the following certifications: CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.

Desired Certifications:

• CASP+ CE (SecurityX), CISSP (or Associate), CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP.
• Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Architect.
• Ten (10) years of experience with IBI WebFOCUS products.
• Five (5) years of experience in:
• Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes.
• Data warehouse design and implementation.
• Demonstrated understanding of:
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Software project management methodologies.
• Requirements gathering, system design, and testing techniques.
• Experience with:
• Oracle database integration.
• Information Builders product suite.
• Internet security protocols and PKI certificate implementation.
• Basic knowledge of Software AG ADABAS on IBM mainframes.

Desired Qualification:

• Experience working directly with Information Builders support teams.
• Familiarity with unstructured data processing and data visualization platforms.
