Job Description:
This role is responsible for engineering support and Project Management of Technical Services projects.
Work Schedule: M-F, occasional weekends/travel
Essential Functions Statement(s):
Develops and reviews Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from Special and Current Operations to ensure requirements are accurately
defined. Reviews seller quotes to Special and Current. Operations for accuracy and clarity of products and services to be provided.
Provides integration oversight for Special and Current Operations aircraft modifications.
Supports CAT capture teams by providing technical solutions, research and system quotes.
Obtains Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) and Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA).
Conducts supplier audits. Authors technical manuals, proposals and training material.
Accurately communicate equipment requirements and solutions to various vendors and their engineering staff.
Creating solutions to ensure schedule and cost is maintained.
Project management of simultaneous multiple aircraft integration efforts.



Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills required
Must have good command of the English language, oral and written Technical writing skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Ability to author proposals, technical manuals, training modules and other technical documents.
Must be result and solution oriented
Must be able to support multiple, unrelated technical tasks at one time
Must be willing to take on new roles as they are identified
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, aircraft technicians and vendors

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer or similar field; or 5+ years of equivalent experience in Military or vocational training in aircraft
maintenance or avionics required.
Experience:10+ years of combined experience/working knowledge in the following areas required:
Aircraft avionics systems
Aircraft airframe and structures
FAA airworthiness requirements
Program Management
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point and Project required.
Required Certificates and Licenses: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to hold or obtain a security clearance and passport required.
