Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a critical role in managing the inventory of aircraft parts. This position involves receiving, inventorying, storing, and retrieving parts to support aircraft needs, often on tight deadlines. The role is part of a 12 to 16-month project, with the potential for long-term employment based on performance. You will work with a SAP-based ERP system to ensure parts are fully accounted for, inventoried, and repacked before storage, resale, or other utilization.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the inventory of aircraft parts.
• Enter data into computer tracking programs and compare part numbers.
• Assemble shipments and verify order accuracy.
• Understand and apply quality requirements.
• Operate forklifts, including Reachlift and Sitdown, to move materials within the warehouse.
• Unpack, load, and unload boxes using forklifts and hand scanners.
• Package parts following detailed instructions for aircraft parts.
• Inspect packaging and shipments for compliance with shipping requirements.
• Perform receiving inspections, including counting and verifying data in the ERP system.
• Support inventory, storage, scrapping, and resale of commercial aircraft parts.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• 1+ years of detailed data entry on computers.
• ITAR-acceptable identification is required.
• 1+ years of recent Reachlift experience for two positions.
• 1+ years of detailed computer-based warehouse work for two positions.
• Sitdown forklift experience is needed for one position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience.
• SAP system experience.
• Experience with aircraft parts.
• Basic and visual quality inspection skills.
• International shipping knowledge.

Work Environment

This role is set in a warehouse environment, requiring a lot of standing time. The office area is updated and pleasant, with minimal heavy lifting involved. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Toyota sitdown propane forklifts are used, and training will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
