Qualifications: Must have been qualified as a Pilot in Command and successfully completed one of the following: Graduate of a course of instruction for IPs at an authorized Aviation Proponent School required. Course of instruction in the AH-6/AH-6i. An IP equivalency evaluation administered by a standardization instructor pilot (SP) selected by the Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES) required. FAA rating (preferred) as Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument - Helicopter (CFII-H) or military equivalent. Minimum 1,000 flight hours with 250 NVG, and 500 hours as an instructor required. Successfully pass the Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter required. Possesses a valid State driver’s license.
