Established in 1991 with a single R22 by Larry Larrivee, Pollux Aviation has been Alaska’s largest and longest running Robinson Utility Helicopter Operator for over 31 years. In 2023, the long-term partnership between Larry and Sam Maxwell concluded in the transferred ownership of Pollux Aviation to Sam. Based at Wolf Lake airport (4AK6) near Wasilla Alaska; Pollux Aviation Ltd. is an FAA part 133/135/137 Utility Helicopter operator providing Helicopter support throughout the state of Alaska. We operate Robinson R44s and R66s in support of many industries across the State including government (OAS) and non-government agencies. For the 2023 season we are operating: • x8 - R44s • x3 - R66s We are also a Part 145 Repair Station, Robinson factory approved service center for the R44 and R66 Helicopter with Component Overhaul capabilities. We Have the largest Robinson parts inventory in the state and each of our A&P mechanics have been Factory certificated prior to performing any maintenance on our aircraft.
