Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.The Sales Support Agent will handle and support the Spain and Portugal group sales, travel agent requests, as well as assist our Key Account Managers and Country Manager in selected commercial activities and handle small leisure accounts (tour operators, students, VFR, etc).
Responsibilities:Sales support activities in person, phone & emails covering Air Canada ticketing policy, procedures, sales programs, AJV activities, TO programs, students, cruise traffic, etc.Groups Reservations & Ticketing assistance, Preparing sales reports and handling Refunds.Assist the Sales Account Managers with updating and monitoring of commercial agreements in Spain and Portugal in Salesforce and other internal systems.Assist with promotional activities (trade shows, product training, sales events).Assist sales with various sales-related duties (sales calls with small leisure accounts, benchspaning, sales statistics & analysis, etc.).Handle daily group business for the Spanish and Portuguese spanets.Manage dedicated group sales mailbox, sales phone calls and GDS queues. Promote, price quote, contract and execute group offers to the travel trade in close cooperation with our Sales and Revenue Management department.Miscellaneous office duties, as required.Support other spanets in the Regional Manager Sales’ portfolio if required.
QualificationsMinimum high school diploma combined with min. 4 years work-related experience in the airline industry.Proficient knowledge of at least one global distribution systems (GDS)Good knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, as well as general IT savvinesDeep sales experience handling accounts in the Spanish spanet and/or Portuguese spanet.Deep knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese OTA (Online Travel Agencies), sales agency, tour operator, TMC (Travel Management Companies) and corporate spanet. On the job training for all Air Canada related used software systems.

Linguistic RequirementsExcellent level in English and Spanish, written and spoken. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
