About the Company
The Whitewind Company has been in business over twenty seven years and is based at Bradley Airport, Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The company was originally a single aircraft operator (one Challenger CL600) based at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York. In 1995, the company relocated from Westchester County Airport, to Bradley International Airport. The move was prompted by the need for additional space and a more favorable business and tax environment. Bradley Airport is a well-equipped, underutilized airport, which has a favorable cost structure that justified moving a little further from the metropolitan area.
Today, The Whitewind Company specializes in large cabin airplanes, especially Bombardier airplanes and business jets such as the Challenger and Global Series. Currently, we provide aircraft management services, maintenance, completions and engineering services, along with aircraft sales, charter services and crew leasing on a global basis. With employees based in Windsor Locks, CT, Montreal Quebec, London England, and Hong Kong, we have the experience to operate virtually anywhere in the world.
