Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include Powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.
Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/ overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.

The majority of work will be airframe repairs with powerplant R&R on all types of general aviation aircraft at our location in central Arkansas. In addition to repairs and maintenance, there will also be many opportunities to travel nationwide transporting aircraft. We are a major airframe repair facility and are searching for A&Ps with sheet metal experience or who are able to learn. Specialty tools are provided, but basic hand tools are required.

2080 hours per year (overtime available)
Monday-Friday 8-5 & 1 hour lunch
Annual Paid Time Off: 6 paid holidays & 1 floating paid holiday per year

We operate in accordance with FAA Part 141, providing industry leading flight instruction and tour flights throughout the State of Utah. We are currently seeking an A&P mechanic to assist with the completion of all maintenance. Our fleet consists of Robinson Helicopters and General Aviation Airplanes (Diamond, Cessna, Piper).

Role Summary:

The Mechanic holds a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and safe operation of the flight school fleet, ensuring aircraft are ready for training flights and checkrides while ensuring minimal aircraft downtime and delays to student and instructor schedules. Active and thorough planning and communication is essential to success in this role.

Duties:

Assists with maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of aircraft inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules for the fleet ensuring regulatory compliance and use of industry best practices.
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine methods for repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components in a timely, cost effective manner.
Assists with inventory management.
Maintenance shop cleanup, organization and basic office duties.

Pay:

Ranging between $31-$35 per hour depending on experience

Miscellaneous:

Much of each shift will be performed while standing or walking and includes reaching overhead, bending, and lifting. Must have the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

· Daily usage of manufacturing shop controls and systems

Halo Flight is seeking an A&P Helicopter Maintenance Technician for our program in Corpus Christi, TX.

Essential Functions:

Coordinates with Lead Mechanic to schedule aircraft maintenance considering such factors as workflow, location of equipment and facilities, tools, supplies and job requirements.
Communicates with the Director of Maintenance, Lead Mechanic, PIC, and OCC concerning unscheduled maintenance needs and estimated out of service times.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances in accordance with applicable manufacturer’s manuals, FAA regulations, and Halo Flight policies.
Maintain the field base and aircraft to company standards.
Ensure all necessary aircraft and company documents are completed and maintained in accordance with applicable regulations and company GOM.
Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FARs, manufacturers' and Halo Flight policies and procedures.
Maintain/monitor and account for parts, tools, support equipment, and supplies inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures as applicable.
Orders anticipated parts, lubricants, etc., in sufficient quantity to ensure no aircraft down time for affected maintenance requirements.
Maintains accountability of all company owned tools in accordance with company policies.
Maintain shop equipment, aircraft support equipment, special tools, and ground based fueling system.
Attend weekly/monthly staff, program and/or department meetings as applicable.
Performs other duties as assigned.
