We specialize in everything from routine transponder certifications to complete, turn-key panel retrofits for piston and light turbine aircraft. Our shop prides itself on clean wiring, precise troubleshooting, and maintaining a collaborative, efficient workspace.

What to expect with the position:

• Full Panel Retrofits: Perform complete tear-downs and clean installations of Garmin suites (G3X, GTN Xi, GI 275, GFC autopilots).
• FAA Certifications: Conduct pitot-static and transponder integration checks under FAA regulations 14 CFR 91.411 and 91.413.
• IFR/VFR Troubleshooting: Diagnose, wire, and repair complex communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Blueprint & Wiring Work: Fabricate new avionics panels, build wiring harnesses, and read complex schematics.
• Quality Assurance: Perform ground and functional checks prior to return-to-service sign-offs.

4+ years of progressive experience in avionics (business aviation or military background preferred).

Experience with avionics troubleshooting, installations, and system integrations.

Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply wiring diagrams, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.

• Clear communication skills to coordinate across avionics, maintenance, and management teams.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to perform tasks while standing, kneeling, or in prone positions for extended periods.
• Must have an appropriate set of tools for avionics and maintenance tasks.
