A&P Mechanics - Grand Canyon, Arizona

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs and often lifting above head.
• Must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climb ladders, aircraft and support stands, and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (high visibility clothing, hearing protection, safety glasses) when required.
• Professional that is able to work as a team member or independently.
• Must have the ability to be trained to use calibrated hand and specialized tools.
• Must be able to read and understand English in order to properly use aircraft manuals.
• Possess quality decision making capability and mental alertness to ensure safety.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities desired but not necessary:

• Aircraft Paint Preparation and Application.
• Fixed Wing experience.
• Experience with PT6 engines.
• Sheet Metal Repair
• Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass Composite Repair
• Entry level positions are available for all shifts and locations.
