Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
The successful technician will be required to:
  1. Perform Inspections of Airborne Radar and all AGE support equipment to ensure availability and serviceability.
  2. Perform Inspections of all Simulator equipment.
  3. Co-ordinate Inspection activities and prepare written reports as required.
  4. Supervise Pre-Flight, BPO and Through Flight Quality Verification of aircraft radar equipment.
  5. Ensure maintenance personnel perform assigned duties in compliance with all applicable Technical and Support Publications.
  6. Conduct Demonstrations and Performance Training OJT of all workshop personnel (RSAF & Contractors).
  7. Have a minimum of TEN years aircraft experience with a minimum of FIVE years experience as an Airborne Radar Technician equivalent to RSAF Seven Skill Level.
 
This position will be based at Prince Sultan Air Base.
 
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Saudi Arabia Security clearance
Job Requirements:

Qualifications/ Certificates/ Licenses:

  1. Computer literate and an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project).
  2. Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language
  3. Air Force experience, preferred.
 
 
Skills & Work Experience required:
 
  1.  Must have completed military service training courses in Avionics Systems equivalent to RSAF Seven Skill Level.
  2.  Must have knowledge of Airborne Radar (Pre-RSIP & RSIP) and applied maintenance practices and procedures.
  3.  Must have general knowledge of Engine Operation and maintenance procedures.
  4.  Must have general knowledge of Aircraft Systems and maintenance procedures.
  5.  Must have knowledge of Safety Procedures.
  6.  Must have an acceptable English Language Oral and Written communication skills.
  7.  Must have knowledge of Air Force Technical Terminologies.
  8.  Must have experience using a PC with intermediate levels of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
