  • Report to various Project Managers, and directly to the Avionics
  • Manager on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company and
  • Transport Canada Regulations and quality standards
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork in accordance with published procedures, manuals, and documentation.
  • Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition
  • Performing installations of avionics equipment and systems on aircraft
  • Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft discrepancies in compliance with manufacturer's standards to expedite return to flight status
  • Program and configure various products
 
Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Avionics course with +3 years of experience
• Hold a valid AME license Category E
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Airport Pass (RAIC)
• Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program (security) considered an  asset
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely with basic hand tools
• Understand technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
• Attend training courses as directed by the company to ensure knowledge and skills are current
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ensure adherence to regulatory/professional standards and company policies
• Make recommendations on policies and procedures to support continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned
