Boxell Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Airline Maintenance Mechanic (must hold FAA A&P license and have Part 121 or Part
135 or Part 145 experience).
Full Time Staff Line Maintenance Technician for our line maintenance operation at Charleston International Airport (CHS) supporting FAA Part 121 passenger carriers flying mixed fleets
Aircraft Maintenance Duties:
The duties of the Boxell Aerospace line maintenance technician in our line maintenance operationsinclude, but not limited to:
·Applying Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Non-Essential Furnishings (NEF), Configuration Deviation List (CDL), and Engineering Approved relief to discrepancies.
·Performing ferry flight inspections and documenting authorizations for ferry flights.
·Servicing of engine oils, lubricants, and fluids.
·Landing gear wheel,tire, and brake changes.
·Evaluating of damage, recording, and relaying to operator maintenance control.
·Interior and Exterior repair.
·Troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, engines, mechanical systems (full airframe and powerplant) under the direction of maintenance control.
·Servicing of aircraft oxygen and nitrogen systems (high and low pressure.)
·Removal and replacement of components, mechanical systems, electrical, avionics, and navigation equipment to resolve discrepancies or troubleshoot problems under
the direction of maintenance control.
·Escorting airline maintenance personnel and supporting aircraft maintenance operations.
·Identifying, preparing, labeling, and packaging customer parts for shipment and delivering to appropriate shipping consignee
Non Aircraft Maintenance Duties:·Cleaning and maintenance of shop and storage areas
·Maintaining of calibrated tool program
·Maintenance of shelf life program
·Tool and supply inventory
·Supply orders and requisitions
·Maintenance of Boxell Aerospace owned support equipment and vehicles
Requirements:·Must have a wide range of experience with airframe systems, interior systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
·Hold an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
·Computer skills/knowledge is a must. Ability to access and utilize electronic documents (CMM's, drawings, bulletins, PDF documents and forms) is required.
·Able to effectively communicate via email and to utilize MS Office products including, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·Demonstrate the ability to work within a quality system, i.e. working to current data, processes, procedures, and to standards prescribed by the FAA, aircraft
manufacturers, and, when applicable, Boxell Aerospace repair station processesand procedures.
·Eligible for security access to SIDA areas of TSA controlled airport facilities.
·Employment is contingent upon negative results of a pre-employment DOT drug screening and will be subject to random drug and breath alcohol testing.
