Manufacturing Planning Coordinator
MD Helicopters, Inc. •
Distributes and releases production shop plans, including planned and unplanned work instructions to the production floor. Maintains planning paper in accordance with planning revisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•Releases and maintains production shop orders (detail, assembly and installation) for the manufacturing process
•Interfaces with Manufacturing Engineering to format, setup, collate and distribute to production floor
•Develops and maintains documents using engineering planning system for procurement plans.
•Provides documentation support to production using available engineering documents, drawings, engineering orders and process specifications
•Modify and retrieve data from Matrix Manufacturing Engineering Planning system
•Red line production work orders as directed by manufacturing engineering
•Reads, comprehends and manages department blueprints, configuration management and bill of material structures
•Conducts research, compiles and types statistical reports
•Performs administrative duties to include, sorting, filing and verifying documents; preparing charts or graphs, order supplies and equipment; and recording information to keep accurate and current records
•Other duties may be assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Must have a working knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and production scheduling and shop operations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
•Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required
•Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
•The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
•Access to Export Control Information.
•Regular attendance at the worksite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
