Dassault Falcon Jet, one of the most sought after brands in business aviation is seeking a Quality Manager ASC Network & Maintenance Training in our Dallas location.  
 
Under the direction of the Senior Manager Service Center Network & Maintenance Training, the Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring and ensuring Dassault service center and training provider compliance as per established regulatory standards, Dassault agreements, and company policies and procedures. This position will work with service centers and training providers to collect and share critical information, data, and key performance indicators to drive new initiatives and improve overall customer satisfaction. In addition, this role will work to refine department policy and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Scheduling, conducting, and reporting the results of service center and training provider, audits in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual collection, analysis, and reporting of service center and training provider data for company internal and Senior Management distribution. This may include, but is not limited to specific service center and training provider activities, critical information, customer satisfaction metrics, and department performance. 
  • Facilitates onsite meetings, and tracks objectives and accomplishments. Escalates issues or problems to appropriate levels to ensure prompt resolution of operational and technical issues by applicable parties. 
  • Coordinate with service centers and training providers to deploy Dassault initiatives, to include technical and commercial type programs. 
  • Track Dassault Technical Referential to identify aircraft changes impacting service center and training provider operations. This might include changes to maintenance procedures, tooling requirements, and training needs. 
  • Maintain and update service center tooling requirements to include periodic accuracy reviews, and the identification of tooling needs and discrepancies. 
  • Identification and reporting of service center and training provider customer satisfaction concerns to ensure final resolution. 
  • Participates in periodic meetings between Dassault and various vendors and/or Dassault’s Customers.  Prepares presentations and documents to support such meetings. 
  • Accomplishes administrative activities related to Dassault-authorized agents in the accomplishment of the Company Mission Statement with the highest regard for the Company Values.  Articulates the Company vision to all subordinates and provides a workplace that enables employees to fulfill Company goals. 
  • Create, manage, and update applicable company policy and procedural documents as mandated by Management 
  • Promotes, initiates, and conducts good communication with service centers, the Customer, Dassault and its departments, and other groups, and individuals for the understanding and accomplishment of Dassault’s commitment to Customer, Individuals, and Company. 
  • Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve the service center network to make operations easier, minimize operating cost, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials. 
  • Assist to identify required ASC Agreement changes and updates for incorporation. 
  • Assist in efforts to deploy new training programs to ASC’s, Dassault Service Centers, and Customers.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or related discipline (Suitable equivalent experience may be considered)
  • 7 years aviation experience, preferably with experience in an FAA/EASA Part 145 and Part 147 environment
  • 3 years’ experience performing quality, maintenance, or engineering related activities on Dassault Falcon Jet aircraft models
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations concerning maintenance and operations contained in FAR Part’s 145, 91,135, 147, and their European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) equivalents
  • Familiarity with global auditing and quality concepts, methods, and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, e.g., to read, interpret, and explain documents such as aviation regulations, safety rules, installation and operating instructions, maintenance publications and procedures, and to write defect and repair statements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently, and within a team environment
  • Ability to perform advanced calculations and to understand and prepare routine analytical and metric based reports
  • Demonstrated extensive experience and competency with the following software: MS Outlook, MS Office Word, MS Office Excel, MS Office PowerPoint, MS Office Access, and Adobe Acrobat
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent
  • Administrative skills including technical and business administration experience.  Self-starter who takes initiative and works with minimal supervision.  Ability to coach and influence third-parties to achieved desired results.  Knowledge of basic accounting desired.
  • Previous experience in customer support related position.  Preference given for hands-on Falcon product experience.  
  • French/English bi-lingual, and familiarity with the French culture through first-hand experience, is desired.
  • 40 hour plus work week, and overtime may be required based upon department workload and assigned projects
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in multiple environment types to include office, classroom, and aircraft hangars/service centers
  • Devices that will be used may include telephone, personal computer, various mobile communication devices, and various mechanical equipment types.
  • Some domestic and international travel is required, and a valid passport must be obtained
