Job Description:
The Supervisor, Quality Control (QC) will supervise the workload and flow of the QC Representatives to help ensure that the NetJets maintenance group stays compliant with 14 CFR and the NetJets General Maintenance Manual. The Supervisor, QC also monitors and provides surveillance with the intent of identifying and correcting maintenance quality gaps. The Supervisor, QC audits and maintains the storage of aircraft maintenance records. In addition the Supervisor, QC may be responsible for assigning duties, overseeing work, and training.
25%: Performs on-site surveillance checks of base maintenance providers to ensure compliance with 14 CFR and the NetJets' approved maintenance program. Collects and reports surveillance data with the intent of identifying and correcting maintenance quality gaps.
20%: Conducts audits of aircraft maintenance records to ensure compliance with 14 CFR and the NetJets' approved maintenance program. Oversees storage of all aircraft maintenance records.
20%: Performs duties associated with addition and removal of aircraft from the NetJets fleet. Conducts oversight of the 14 CFR Part 135 Conformity Inspection. This includes compiling, reviewing, and inducting the aircraft records. Reviews and prepares records for aircraft exiting the 135 certificate.
20%: Perform and Assign projects and duties. Above duties require travel and periodic non-standard work hours (nights, weekends, etc.).
15%: Ensures that NetJets complies with 14 CFR reporting and compliance requirements as they pertain to Airworthiness Directives, Service Difficulty reports, and Mechanical Interruption Summary reports.
Job Requirements:
Education: High School Graduate
Types of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years
4 or more years performing aircraft heavy or line maintenance or lead Mechanic.2 or more years managing, researching maintenance related records.Is familiar with aircraft regulatory agencies policies and procedures able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.Is able to organize and prioritize work.Is able to work nights, various shifts, and holidays.
