Sky Quest Aviation LLC has an IMMEDIATE opening for FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics in Stafford, Virginia. Applicants must have a minimum of Five (5) years experience working as an A&P mechanic on rotary-wing aircraft and returning them to service by exercising the privileges of his/her certificate.
In addition to the A&P requirement, candidates must have a minimum of Two (2) years experience on UH-60M aircraft. Special consideration will be applied to candidates who also possess Bell helicopter and sheet-metal experience.
Individuals selected for this position will be responsible for maintaining aircraft and performing associated ground support tasks. The A&P mechanic/technician will perform their duties in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals/procedures, inspection bulletins, and applicable regulations. Aircraft will be maintained in accordance with US Army maintenance manuals/standards and documented in accordance with ULLS-A(E).
The A&P will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of required forms, records and reports relative to the maintenance, modifications, service or repairs being performed.
