Certified Flight Instructors
California Aeronautical University (CAU) is now hiring Certified Flight Instructors for their FAA-Approved Part 141 professional flight program. CAU offers an ideal aviation training environment conveniently located at Bakersfield Airport in Southern California.
The instruction fleet is comprised of new Cessna 172S with state -of-the-art G-1000 Avionics and augmented in the classroom by a new Redbird SD and MCX AATDs. Twin instruction uses Baron 55 aircraft supported by Frasca Baron 58 simulators.
The CAU program prepares students to assume roles as aviation professionals. Flight instructors will prepare enrolled students for the issuance of the private, instrument, commercial, CFI, CFII and twin certificates and ratings.
The position offers competitive pay and advanced degree opportunities with hire, including CAU’s Bachelor’s in Aviation Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Master of Aviation Science.
With an established student population, instructors can expect to fly immediately with approximately 100 hours per month depending on individual qualifications and student availability.
