Job Description:
  • Line Mechanics are responsible for the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs and alterations of our aircraft. 
  • Travel is required.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure that aircraft systems, structures, and components are in proper working condition per the Companies CAMP. This includes checking for leaks, inspecting control surfaces, testing electronic systems, and verifying fluid levels.
  • Perform assigned flight duties for missions, ensuring the aircraft's airworthiness and safety are maintained while protecting the integrity of the schedule for the client.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on aircraft systems and components as needed, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing avionics issues, repairing hydraulic leaks, and addressing electrical faults utilizing accepted practices. 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues that may arise during aircraft operations.
  • Use diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Replace and install aircraft components and parts, including tires, brakes, filters, sensors, and other equipment.
  • Follow the company's CAMP and its maintenance procedures for component replacement.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and component replacements.
  • Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation according to the CAMP.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, and the company CAMP.
  • Adhere to established procedures for handling hazardous materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with aircraft dispatchers, flight crews, maintenance controllers, and other maintenance personnel to communicate maintenance needs, report findings, and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
  • Be prepared to respond to aircraft emergencies and unscheduled maintenance events, including on-call duties and rapid response to critical maintenance issues that may impact flight safety.
  • Performs other duties as directed by the DOM or DQC.
Job Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 40 Hour ATA Level I General Familiarization Course for Boeing 737-300/400/500 or Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 Series is preferred.
  • Tools are required, including a Smart Phone for company-provided apps.
  • Have strong technical skills in aircraft systems, avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, engines, and airframes. Be proficient in using tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Prioritize safety in all maintenance activities, adhere to safety protocols, and follow regulatory guidelines to ensure the airworthiness and safety of aircraft.
  • Effective communication skills are important for collaborating with other maintenance personnel, engineers, supervisors, and flight crews. Clear and accurate reporting of maintenance findings, work progress, and compliance issues is critical.
  • Must clear a Pre-Employment 10-year Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) as required by regulations.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position where your actions, decisions, or performance directly impact the safety of yourself, coworkers, the public, and the environment. As a result, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing is required, and continuous participation in the company's Drug and Alcohol Testing program is mandatory.
