Responsible for accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals accounting cycle.  Assists in implementation of control systems.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare customer billings in accordance with the respective contracts
  • Apply fundamental concepts in the application of any judgments to relatively routine matters.
  • Support a wide scope of accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting and Intercompany/general reconciliations.
  • Assist management with deliverables to Corporate and external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Provide accounting for the assigned organization entity or facility, verifying the accuracy of journal entries, budget and accounting classifications and charges to assigned accounts.
  • Perform such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct; ensures adequate and continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
  • Support monthly close process.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting from four-year college or university 
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience preferred. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Pursuing or possessing a CPA is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $64,000 to $68,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
