Draken is searching for an organized, motivated Hybrid Accounts Payable & Security Specialist to assist in the department and increase efficiency companywide. The position will be responsible for processing and issuing payment to various agencies and processing expenses for internal departments as well as management of company administrative security duties.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Matching, batching, coding and entering invoices. Entering, posting and reconciling batches.
- Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors or internal accounts.
- Enter vendor information from source documents with high level of accuracy
- Data entry of vendor information from source documents, vendor portal, applying a high level of accuracy and requested changes to vendor data, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
- Disbursing checks and processing wires
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of accounts payable activities
- Monitor AP inbox and respond promptly to vendor and employee inquiries
- Manage company administrative security duties to include Entry Access Lists (EALs), creating and managing visit certifications for TDY operations, opening/closing checklists, line badge paperwork, Common Access Card (CAC) paperwork, managing clearances through Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS
- Conduct self-audits and coordinate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
- Write policy and procedures to enforce compliance with government and company requirements.
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
- Maintain the information management system for control of classified materials.
Requirements / Skills:
- 4+ years of administrative experience
- 5+ years of experience in Active Duty or Industrial Security or related field
- Strong National Industrial Security Program experience and expertise
- Active US Clearance at secret or above level
- Previous unit Security Manager or FSO experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work well under pressure.
- Detail oriented individual with high volume payables background.
- Must be dependable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Required: Intermediate Excel skills plus accurate data entry skills
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to ethical behavior and adherence to company policies and financial regulations
- Deltek Costpoint ERP Experience a plus
